Electronic signature and digital signature: what it is and what it is for
The difference between drawing your signature on a PDF and a certificate-based signature.
A simple electronic signature is any mark that indicates agreement with a document: a drawn signature, a typed name or an accept click. It is the kind used in most everyday procedures, such as authorizations or simple contracts.
A certified digital signature uses a certificate issued by a trusted authority, and it lets you verify who signed and that the document did not change afterward. Some legal or administrative procedures require it.
Rayo PDF GO lets you draw your signature and place it on a PDF, that is, a visual signature. If your procedure requires a digital certificate, check this before sending the document.
